Ohhhh, sorry you are talking to me aren't you, LOL? I'm sorry I've been away, LIFE has been quite busy and sometimes down right challenging.
I'll catch you up to what I've been doing, but for now I'd like to share that today is Day 1 of the 3-Day Green Smoothie Challenge that I'm doing for the weekend. YEAH GREENS!!
Huh! Did you say YUCK!! I promise you it's not as bad as it sounds. In fact, depending on what you put in it and how much "greens" you add, Green Smoothies can be sweet and not bitter tasting.
Here is what I put in my first one last night:
Banana, Pear, Carrot, Parsley, Kale and Mint
The Result
A green explosion, LOL. It turned out pretty good, but a little too minty so when I made up a larger batch for hubby and I for today I cut back on the amount of mint, added more pears and carrots and an apple. In fact, I'm partaking of it right now as I type this post up and it's delish!

What are the benefits of this challenge? I heard several women talking about this last night but I wasnt able to properly easedrop without being obvious so i didnt get any details.
